December Comprehension Unit for special education students
Each unit contains four stories:
WEEK ONE: The Snowman
WEEK TWO: The Gingerbread Man
WEEK THREE: Let’s Play Outside
WEEK FOUR: New Year Wish
Each story contains 5 activities:
MONDAY: Vocabulary (3 levels)
TUESDAY: Story (3 levels)
WEDNESDAY: Sequencing (3 levels)
THURSDAY: Review (clip cards)
FRIDAY: Quiz, comprehension and vocab quizzes (3+ levels)

HOW TO USE:
+ Send the note home to parents to introduce the new curriculum

+ Each worksheet contains 3 different levels, use the levels to practice all week long, or have each kid work at their own level.

+ Use the simple data sheet to track student progress throughout the week.

These stories are so cute! They are perfect for December/winter without being outright “Christmas.” I love Simple Comprehension! It makes it so easy for me to plan my weekly reading centers.
